Hello everyone, thanks for tuning in. I am a Portland, Oregon based songwriter who writes music and lyrics primarily for the joy it brings me, for the enrichment of my soul, and as a gift to friends and family. The most exciting thing for me is playing with other musicians and hearing the music and lyrics that started out in my head be brought fully to life – especially when I can see them digging it while they play.
My music tends to straddle the lines between folk rock, country folk, and blues-soaked rock and roll. I write and shape my songs by drawing on the storytelling traditions of artists like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Beatles, and Willie Nelson, while filtering them through a modern Northwest lens inspired by bands like The Decemberists.
